In the south of the island of Tenerife is the municipality of Adeje, an ideal place for all kinds of excursions and outdoor activities. The main route of the Barranco del Infierno starts 350 m above the coast of Adeje, in a place that constitutes a natural balcony, where we will obtain magnificent views over the landscape of the south of Tenerife.

Entry to the Barranco del Infierno costs €15 per non-resident adult and €5 for residents of the Canary Islands, and advance online booking is compulsory. A round trip through the Barranco del Infierno takes around 3 hours, covering a distance of 6.5 km with an elevation gain of around 250 metres; the route is rated as low to medium difficulty.
