El Barranco del Infierno, which takes its name from its abrupt nature, is a Protected Natural Area. Please, remember that access is restricted, so don't forget to make your reservation a few days before your trip.
Location
In the south of Tenerife island is the municipality of Adeje, an ideal place for all kinds of excursions and outdoor activities. The main route of the Barranco del Infierno begins 350 m above the coast of Adeje, in a place that constitutes a natural balcony, where we will obtain wonderful views of south Tenerife landscape.

The route through the Barranco del Infierno, is one of the most challenging excursions in all of southern Tenerife. The path takes approximately three and a half hours, between the outward and return journey, and the total route is approximately 6.5 km.
